Carrie Bernans, 'Black Panther' stuntwoman, sustained severe injuries in a hit-and-run at Chirp restaurant in Manhattan. She underwent emergency surgery for multiple broken bones and teeth.

Fortunately, Bernans' young son wasn't present during the incident and was safe with family. Her mother provided updates on Instagram

The driver, fleeing police orders, caused chaos by striking pedestrians, a food cart, and vehicles, injuring multiple individuals on the sidewalk and in the street.

Despite causing extensive harm, officers managed to take the driver into custody following the collisions.

 The injured pedestrians and the passenger involved were transported to Bellevue Hospital for medical attention.

 Bernans' mother shared distressing hospital images, revealing her daughter's unconscious state and being trapped beneath the food cart, seeking advice for restorative dental procedures.

Bernans, amidst immense pain, is in the process of healing after surgery. Her mother expressed gratitude for the support from responders, police, friends, and family during this challenging time
